Where will the ventilation ducts be located? How much space is needed in the floor or above the ceiling? And how does the installation fit into the construction schedule? At BouwBeurs 2027, Vent-Axia is drawing attention to decisions that must be made right at the start of a construction project. The company demonstrates how a complete ventilation system and thorough preparation help builders and installers during the execution phase.

“Once the layout is finalized and the space has already been divided, incorporating ventilation becomes much more difficult,” says Erik Snijders, sales manager at Vent-Axia. “By working together on the system from the very first drawing, you can address potential issues before they cause problems on the construction site.”

Plan Ahead

This preparation goes beyond simply finding a spot for the ventilation unit. The layout of the ducts, openings, and the position of the valves must also align with the architectural design choices. By coordinating these details in advance, builders and installers will have less need to improvise during construction.

Vent-Axia can supply the complete ventilation system: from the unit and air distribution to the dampers and controls. This makes it possible to view the components in context and tailor the system to the construction method and available space. The key question is always what the specific project requires, whether it’s a new construction or a renovation.

Save time during installation

One component of this is Uniflexplus+, Vent-Axia’s flexible air distribution system. The air ducts can be cut to size and are connected to the distributors and valve manifolds using a snap-fit system. The limited number of components and the simple connections help installers save time during installation.

“A system has to be correct on paper, but the installer also has to be able to work with it comfortably,” says Snijders. “That’s why we focus on a combination of thorough preparation and practical ease of installation.”

Vent-Axia will also be showcasing new products at BouwBeurs. Details about which new products will be on display will be announced in the run-up to the trade show. The common thread is the connection between construction and ventilation: making timely decisions and putting together a complete system that suits the home and the construction plan.
