What exactly does the Spouwstoel do?
The Cavity Bracket is installed at the bottom of the cavity against the interior wall. The insulation rests on top of it, providing a stable foundation. The top is fitted with a water-repellent membrane, which allows moisture at the bottom of the cavity to be drained outward in a controlled manner. In this way, the Cavity Support combines multiple functions in a single detail: supporting the insulation, draining water, and ensuring a precise connection at the bottom of the facade.
What does this mean for the contractor?
