A door handle is often chosen based on color and shape. But practical considerations also play a role: Is the hardware available? Is it easy to install? And where can a professional go for advice? At BouwBeurs 2027, HDD Design, together with HDD PRO, will present door and furniture hardware that prioritizes design, ease of installation, and availability.
The Belgian manufacturer and supplier of door and furniture hardware has been in business since 1960 and is expanding its presence in the Netherlands. To this end, the company has chosen to partner with specialty hardware retailers and construction wholesalers. “We do not sell directly to end users in the Netherlands,” says Marco Muilenburg, Sales Manager for the Netherlands.
HDD PRO targets the mid-range market. Behind the brand is HDD Design, with a product range of over 8,000 items and manufacturing facilities in China, India, and Italy. The company combines stainless steel project hardware with brass and designer hardware. “We supply design products that define the look of doors, windows, and furniture,” says owner Olivier Descurieux.
Inventory as part of our service offering
The logistics hub is located in Grimbergen. There, HDD Design invested in a new 10,000-square-meter warehouse with capacity for 10 million items. With ample inventory and a steady supply from its production sites, the company focuses on immediate availability and stable prices. For business partners, this means they can also take their customers’ schedules into account when selecting products.
Matte bronze and minimalist design
During its first appearance at BouwBeurs, HDD Design will present, under the HDD PRO brand, a wide selection of timeless door handles, cabinet pulls, and door knobs that are available directly from stock. Special attention will be given to the increasingly popular matte bronze finish and the new minimalist door hardware line, Minimal Build.
At the trade show, visitors can examine the products up close and assess their shape, finish, and feel in their hands. In this way, the introduction to HDD PRO not only provides an overview of the product line but also offers an opportunity to discuss applications and collaboration with specialty retailers.
