There is increasing awareness that accessibility of buildings is important, for example for wheelchair users and the visually impaired. But building practice in the Netherlands lags behind. Will the NEN standard 9120 launched at the BouwBeurs make a difference? How can we move from awareness to action? We discuss it with Ed Bijman (NEN committee member and architect).
