Award ceremony: Feb. 3, 2025
What are the innovations and novelties in the construction industry?
The BouwBeurs Awards show you what every construction specialist cannot ignore in the coming year. The election was created by the organisers of BouwBeurs to draw more attention to the innovations in the industry during trade fair.
Registration is now closed, and the judges have had a long meeting about which products will be nominated for the awards. There are three categories: Environmental Impact, Smart & Efficient and Tools & Craftsmen. There are three nominees per category and soon there will be one winner per category. However, visitors to BouwBeurs 2025 can choose from all the nominated products and determine the winner of the Audience Award.
Through this page you will soon find the nominees!
Products, services and concepts that contribute in the short term to making construction more circular and promoting sustainability in the built environment. The entries create a better planet, answer the demand for sustainable and responsible solutions in new construction and renovation. They offer the traditional column tools to innovate, change and stay future-proof.
Technologies that allow smarter and more efficient construction than traditional construction methods. Digitisation and/or industrialisation can save more time and therefore money, making a construction process faster and smoother. Moreover, some smart technologies also require less manpower. With this, it also helps solve other challenges such as personnel shortages.
This category is the domain of the workplace. The domain of human beings who have to make it. Products, services or concepts that lighten the work, make it easier, or make it attractive to the craftsman. A practical category, in which the well-being and welfare of the craftsman is paramount. Think tools and trade methods. Smart solutions that benefit the people on the shop floor, whom we so desperately need.
The jury of the BouwBeurs Awards 2025 met to agree on the competitions' rules and define categories. This happened earlier this year in Jaarbeurs complex, led by fair manager Joyce van de Hoef (left).
The jury has chosen 9 products and nominated 3 per category from more than 50 submissions. In the end, 1 winner per category will be chosen from these. In addition, there is an Audience Award.
The award ceremony will take place during the opening of BouwBeurs 2025 on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025.
